F Contemporary is an art gallery that brings together artists and collectors who are looking for new perspectives. The gallery aims to showcase contemporary art that channels the spirits of our time by exploring the tension between dream and reality, and challenging societal hierarchies and dominant narratives.
Founded by Amsterdam based art historian Femke Weijtens, the gallery is well connected to local art practices while also focusing on contemporary art from Africa and the African diaspora.
Offering a selection of original works and editions through an online sales platform, Pop Up exhibitions and participation in Art Fairs, F Contemporary aims to create a collaborative and internationally engaged art community, supporting artists by building connections across geographies, striving to promote art that all of us can relate to.
