Boot and Flowers, 2024
Keetje Mans (1979) is a Dutch visual artist and painter based in Maastricht. The available oil painting Boot and Flowers 2024 is an excellent example of her dreamlike, surrealistic work that combines folk art, personal memories and mystical scenes that blur the boundary between everyday domestic life and a fantastic, disoriented inner world. Keetje studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Maastricht and the prestigious Jan van Eyck Academy . In 2012 she was awarded the Royal Award for Modern Painting ( Koninklijke Prijs voor Vrije Schilderkunst). Her work has been exhibited in various Dutch museums, and is part of the permanent collection of oa. the Bonnefanten Museum Maastricht, and various other Institutions.
