Tommaso Buldini

Tommaso Buldini is an Italian multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans painting, video animation and mechanical installations.

His work gives form to a layered, visionary imaginary in which fragments of the unconscious, memory and collective imagery recombine into narrative microcosms suspended between the dreamlike, the grotesque and the dystopian. His works stage a personal mythology populated by ambiguous figures, recurring symbols and monstrous presences, where childhood imagery coexists with darkness and irony.

Through a visual language that intertwines visual arts, moving images and sound, Buldini develops a practice in which painting becomes a space for free association, transformation and world-building.

He has exhibited in Italy and internationally, participating in art fairs such as Art Miami, Art Wynwood Miami and the Outsider Art Fair in New York, as well as Arte Fiera, Art Verona and Arte in Nuvola. His work has been presented in solo and group exhibitions in Paris, Los Angeles, Basel, Brussels, Rotterdam, Rome, Trento, Milan and Bologna.
